Seeing Tarkus carrying the fight left me in awe. I was always getting yeeted by that boss.
(in my defense, the game barely made it to stable 20 fps lol.)

My first experience with Dark Souls was with the Prepare to Die Edition. I played it on laptop.

Blightown and Quelaag fight lagged my pc so bad that half of my attempts ended in the game kicking me back to the title menu due to low fps (I played at 15fps, Blightown ran at 8fps.)

It was still peak tho , too bad Anor Londo was already too much for my poor laptop and I couldn't finish my save back then.

I remember interacting with the Ariamis painting, having zero clue of what I just did. I felt soo lost and confused but that's what made it so fun. Finally reaching Priscilla and finding an exit without fighting was so relieving!

My character was soo n00bish, elite knight armor with the Gargoyle Helm lmao, my main weapon was the halberd.

Now, I got a better laptop (it's comfy, ok?) and the Remastered version.
I was finally able to have a full playthrough. Ornstein and Smough were the hardest to me of all bosses, it took me over 30 attemps by myself, I didn't want to ran out of humanities.

I was still a halberd user, got lucky enough to get the Black Knight Halberd.

On a second playthrough I decided to try magic, it was fun!
