Translation: "Poor ugly thing, it can't beat Iron Golem." Seeing Tarkus carrying the fight left me in awe. I was always getting yeeted by that boss. My first experience with Dark Souls was with the Prepare to Die Edition. I played it on laptop. Blightown and Quelaag fight lagged my pc so bad that half of my attempts ended in the game kicking me back to the title menu due to low fps (I played at 15fps, Blightown ran at 8fps.) It was still peak tho I remember interacting with the Ariamis painting, having zero clue of what I just did. I felt soo lost and confused but that's what made it so fun. Finally reaching Priscilla and finding an exit without fighting was so relieving! My character was soo n00bish, elite knight armor with the Gargoyle Helm lmao, my main weapon was the halberd. Now, I got a better laptop (it's comfy, ok?) and the Remastered version. I was still a halberd user, got lucky enough to get the Black Knight Halberd. On a second playthrough I decided to try magic, it was fun! |
I shall finish this post with this pencil sketch, Inspired by the Friedrich's painting "The Wanderer." |
