This AU was born around late 2023 after I did that collection of the [Medieval Slashers], including Hoyt. I decided to keep that design for more content and also adapted Lilian into that concept.

The main ship dynamic remains the same: "Old depraved imposter man of the law wants to fix a young mentally ill woman."

In this world, Lilian belonged to a noble family and ran away from the Inquistion, people labeled her as a "witch" due to her strange behaviour.
She crosses paths with Hoyt in the same manner. Here, Hoyt is also an imposter: he killed the village's watchman and stole his armor and weapon, taking control of a decaying, small village alognside his family.

He sees Lilian as some kind of heretic that needs to be corrected into a righteous path but he will do it in his own twisted morality by making the same deal: her body in exchange of protection.

The Medieval AU is more comedic overall, Lilian isn't really a witch but there will be a series of coincidences that will make the old watchman to think she might be.
